Prayer for Remorse, Reconciliation, and Salvation

Heavenly Father, You are holy and righteous, full of mercy and compassion. You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who restores. You hold our past, present, and future in Your hands, and nothing is too hard for You.

Lord, I come before You with a broken heart. I confess my failings as a parent—my self-centeredness, my moments of anger, my emotional absence, and the ways I failed to love and nurture my children as You called me to. I see now the pain I caused them, and I am truly sorry. Forgive me, Lord, for repeating patterns I swore I never would.

Thank You, God, for never abandoning me even in my darkest moments. Thank You for the moments of love we did share, for the lessons I have learned, and for the opportunity today to come before You in humility. Thank You that Your grace is greater than my past.

Father, I ask for reconciliation with each of my children. Soften their hearts toward me, and help them to see my love and my longing to be part of their lives again. Heal their wounds, Lord, and restore what has been broken.

I also plead for the salvation of my family. Let every one of us know the truth of Your gospel. Reveal Yourself to my children in dreams, in people, in whispers of hope—whatever it takes. Draw them to You with cords of lovingkindness.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Make me a vessel of peace, healing, and Your love.
